Base Set

Deep Space Nine Heroes and Villains comes after a long break since the last one, Quotable DS9 in 2011. The set follows earlier sets with a Heroes and Villains theme with 100 cards, each dedicated to a red villains and a blue hero on standard glossy card stock.

Inserts

  • Earlier Heroes and Villains set had a matte finish parallel set but this  base set is repeated in a 100 card parallel metal set, numbered x/75.
  • An 18 card Relationships set, similar to the Voyager set. It is gold foiled and gold stamped x/75.
  • The Aliens cards are a  9 card insert set showcasing 3 aliens on each card with a silver foiling.
  • The DVD cover art set has a card for each season of DS9 with the art from the DVD series.
  • The metal DVD set is the same artwork but on 7 metal cards numbered x/75.
  • The relic card, RC1, has a piece cut from on of the display screen of the Routines and Duty Roster Display Panel.
  • The Rules of Acquisition set is a 36 card insert set with replicated artwork from Warren Martineck. Each card is a different ‘rule’ of the Ferengi’s with a different image on the front and back with a black border.
  • Each of the original artwork cards is inserted into the packs at 1:2304 packs. All images are posted on Warren’s Facebook page.
  • There are two communicator pin cards of Sisko and Kira, similar to earlier sets like TNG. The cards are thick with a replica pin card suck into the front.
  • There are 29 different artists doing cards for this set, including a few new names. Sketch odds are 1 per case, but pre-order advertising says it may be slightly less then one per case.
  • There are 72 autographs,  in various formats including silver signature, wormhole style and dual autographs. A few actors signed as different characters within DS9.  New signers like Iggy Pop are also present. Chase Masterson appears to be the most difficult to acquire.

  • There are two case toppers. CT1 is a blue montage of heroes and CT2 is a red montage of villains.
  • The 6-case incentive is a dual autograph card of Nana Visitor and Terry Farrell.
    The 9-case incentive is an LA4 Svery Brooks auto in the Legends format.
  • Sealed Marked Archive box. It contains 100 base cards, 36 rules of acquisition cards, 9 Deep Space Nine aliens cards, 9 ships of the line cards, 7 DVD cover cards, 66 Pack inserted autograph cards (no dual autographs), 5 archive cut comic cards, 2 promo cards, 1 Deep Space Nine display panel relic card, 2 case topper cards, 1 6 and 1 9 case incentive cards,  an exclusive set of 4 printing plates and 9 exclusive autograph cards.
