Two-Player Game

Card Images

This set, released in January of 1997, is a ready-to-play package with two 60 card decks, a Federation and a Klingon deck. All the sets are the same. One box had a Klingon theme with 3 Klingon black bordered premium cards and the other was a Federation theme with three different Federation black bordered cards. Each box also had 12 new WB common missions, three premium cards of McCoy, Data Laughing and a WB Spock card. Included in the box were a few unopened packs of various previous releases such as AU and QC. Eight previously Black Border cards were in this set as White Border.

The First Anthology Set

In June of 1997, Decipher released this boxed set offered several different packs of previous CCG products (two white border Premiere 60-card starter sets, two 15-card packs of white border Premiere and two 15-card packs each of black border Alternate Universe and Q-Continuum). It also contains a Warp Pack and 6 White-bordered Preview cards from upcoming card sets.

Tournament Decks

Released May 1998, the Tournament Decks came in 6 different boxes. each with it’s own design though the cards themselves were the same in every deck. The boxes came sealed, therefore neither the dealer nor the customer could know what was inside. A case had two of each kind of box design. The idea was to have a ready made deck that could be sealed until tournament time and then opened. Also included in each set will be four Premiere (white border) expansion packs and one Alternate Universe expansion pack. All Sealed Decks come with the same twenty new black border cards, including doorways, outposts, ships. This set also featured with the first doubled sided card-Spacedoor.

Fajo Collection

In December of 1997, Decipher released The Fajo Collection as a direct from
Decipher (via Eccentric Order) product. It consists of 18 super-rare cards and
comes in a binder with a piece of bubble gum, a signed COA, the rules, a poster and rebate vouchers for the uncut sheets of WB and BB cards. Decipher limited production to 40,000 sets, but considers this a first-run. They retain the right to reproduce the set, but with enough differences that it can’t be confused with the initial run.

Starter Decks II

Decipher re-released a core product of Star Trek CCG, the Premiere starter deck, with a new Premiere rule booklet (version 1.1, including all Premiere rules updates to present) and 8 new cards specially designed for Starter Deck II December 16, 1998. Each of the Premiere Starter Deck II packs contain 60 random white bordered unlimited edition cards from the original 363-card Premiere set (2 rare, 13 uncommon and 45 common).

Enhanced First Contact

Enhanced First Contact was released January 24, 1999 to `strengthen the Borg’s game play`. There were 4 different packs, each with 3 different new black border premium cards, one transparent Borg overlay and four packs of First Contact limited edition cards. Since the same three cards and Borg Overlay show up together, it is easy to put together a complete set of the premium cards. The Incident cards were introduced in this set.
A problem with some spots on the cards was mentioned in the below press
release:

“It has come to Deciphers’ attention that due to cold weather conditions some of the packs of Enhanced First Contact experienced condensation inside individual tuckboxes. This condensation caused faint moisture marks on special cards in some packs. After several “spot-checks” we have determined that in most cases the marks wipes off with a soft cloth leaving the cards in good condition. The faint moisture marks occur on top of the card varnish, which can be gently wiped off. Our review determined that the spotting does not occur throughout the total production run of product. We hope it is only on a minimum amount of product.”  Copyright date on the cards is 1998.
