Base Set

Season Three of Discovery cards released March 9, 2022. The base set consists of 78 cards, showcasing episodes from Season Two, continuing the sets already released.

Inserts

• Gold Parallel Set-Gold foil card set of 78. Have a gold delta foil and are unnumbered (the cards are numbered as usual in a base set, there is no x/x numbering.
• Red Parallel Set-Gold foil card set of 78. Have a gold delta foil and are unnumbered (the cards are numbered as usual in a base set, there is no x/x numbering.
• Character cards- set of 8 cards in a similar style to Picard, with a reflective coating.
• 32nd Technology set looks at all the fun gadgets the crew found in the future with images some descriptive text on the back about them.
• The Opening Sequence set is a matte finish set with images of the opening sequence and is a continuation of the first two seasons set.
• The Storyboard Design card makes use of storyboard images created to mock up what they want the sets/scenes to look like. They have some silver foiling on the front.
• The costume design set features the artwork artists created to then create the costumes used in the series. The back references what episode the outfit was used in. The cards have a matte finish.
• Relic cards-There are 35 relic cards, 8 of which are relic autograph cards. Some of the cards have variations which are listed in the checklist.
• There are sketches from 10 different artists and are seeded at about every 2.5 cases.
• There are 52 pack pulled autograph cards. They feature full-bleed designs, bordered designs and a dual-auto card. Some characters have both a full bleed and a bordered bleed.  There are also several Inscription cards. Regardless of what the Rittenhouse checklist says, Oded Fehr did NOT write the word ‘suit’ on his card 😉 There are multiple inscriptions of various rarity. Avaah Blackwell also signed her non-Inscription cards with inscriptions as well.

Autograph Variations

• Jake Weber signed his character’s name to some of his bordered card version.
• Oded Fehr has a one line and two line version of his bordered card version.
• Adil Hussain has a variation on the underlining he does to his name.
• Mary Wiseman has a two Inscriptions where the inscription is above and below her signature

Set Composition

Base Set

Season Two of Discovery cards released December 18, 2020. The base set consists of 84 cards, showcasing episodes from Season Two, continuing the Season One set already released.

Inserts

• 27 Short Trek Insert card set.  These cards are based off the series of Short Trek episodes.  There are 3 card for each of the episodes from all seasons of Discovery.
•  The Discovery Character cards are a thin, clear plastic card with each of the main crew. It is a bright and pretty set of 11 cards.
• The Opening Sequence set is a matte finish set with images of the opening sequence and is a continuation of the first season set.
• The  9 Character Quote cards are Matte finished cards with the character on the front and a quote from them on the back.
• The 9 Expressions of Heroism cards are a continuation of the the Inflexions set. They are metal cards, numbered x/150 and offer a more inspirational character quote.
• There are 9 sticker cards, similar to the cards found in several earlier Trek sets.
• The 10 card Starfleet Finest set features Graham artwork reproduced on metalcard and numbered x/50. Inserted randomly into the set are the actual sketches used to make the set.
• Relic cards-There are 25 relic cards, most with 2 or more variations. All are listed in the checklist.
• This was the first Discovery set with sketches and were found about every 2 cases.
• There are 61 pack pulled autograph cards. They feature full-bleed designs, bordered designs and dual-auto cards. Some characters have both a full bleed and a bordered bleed.  There are also Inscription cards. Rob Brownstein also signed his non-Inscription cards with inscriptions as well.

Autograph Variations

• Yadira Guevara-Prip’s full bleed and bordered cards have variations in the placement of xxoo’s and number of hearts.
• Sheila McCarthy’s signature has some variation in the word Mother.

Set Composition

Base Set

Season One of Discovery cards released March 27, 2019. The base set consists of 90 cards, showcasing episodes from Season One.  It also has an incredible line up of signers and relic cards.

Inserts

• 18 blue bordered Behind the Scenes cards. They are silver foiled and show green screens, directors and make-up work.
• The Discovery Character cards are a thin, glossy plastic card set. It has a close up of the various eyes of the characters in a Delta shield and info on the back.
• The Opening Sequence set is a matte finish set with images of..surprise…the opening sequence on the front and back.
• The Mirror, Mirror cards are a reflective glossy set of 8 characters as their human and Terran counterparts, carrying on the tradition of the TOS II mirror set.
• There are 12 relic cards, each with 4 variations. Delta Shield-37%, Plain-25%, Ribbed-13% and Stripes-25%. Very nice looking relic cards.
• There are 47 pack pulled autograph cards. They feature full-bleed designs, bordered designs and dual-auto cards. Some characters have both a full bleed and a bordered bleed. And some actors have both human and Terran characters featured on their cards.  The only non-main cast actor to not sign a pack pulled card is Mary Wiseman who has a signature on the 6-case incentive. Anthony Rapp doesn’t have a single card, but is on one of the dual cards.
