Base Set
This is the first of a two-part series of cards featuring base cards with original episode art by Juan Ortiz. The style is similar to what was seen in the TOS Portfolio card set. Series One is odd numbered cards and is an 89 card set.
Inserts
- The 89 gold base parallel cards that had a gold facsimile signature of Juan Ortiz.
- 89 autographed base cards, hand signed by Juan Ortiz in blue ink.
- 9 Ships of the Line Set with a high quality ship images with foil title banners.
- 40 TNG Comic cards with images from the 1989 series comic series.
- 40 TNG Comic Archive Cuts. Each card is unique with a cut panel from the 1989 comic series. Each card is silver foil numbered with a number range between 101 and 162.
- 9 TNG Universe Gallery cards. The artwork is similar to the Animated Series.
- 10 TNG metal cards. 5 are TNG Silhouette Gallery cards and 5 are TNG Rendered Art (similar to the promo cards). Each card is numbered x/100. The cards are thick metal and heavy.
- As with the last few sets, there were sketch cards inserted at about 1 per case. The list of artists (and scarcity) include:

Helga Wojik (EL) - 50 autograph cards were inserted into packs and were found 3 per box. 3 of the autographs were from the main cast and used the black backed, silver signature style. The rest of the autographs are similar to the green/white style found in TNG Heroes and Villains and TNG Quotable.

Autograph Variants
- Rosiland Allen’s signature had a few variants. Some signed as Allen (underlined and not underlined), some signed as Rosiand Ingledew.
- Doug Wert signed in all capitol letters, signed in 1 lines and 2 lines.
Spencer Garret signed a card with the numbers 26302 - Mick Fleetwood signed with one lines and 2 lines.
- Scott Trost numbered all his autographs and added a quote to the 100, 200 etc numbers.
Gina Ravera signed with 1 lines and 2 lines.
Brian Brophy signed with his full name and as B. Brophy.
